Supervised Contact

Designed for situations where safety and well-being are paramount, our supervised contact sessions involve a trained professional observing and assessing interactions between the child and family member. This ensures a secure environment, allowing relationships to develop positively. Detailed feedback and reports can be provided as required.

Example: A parent rebuilding trust after a period of absence can engage in supervised sessions to ensure the child's comfort and safety.

Supported Contact

In a relaxed and neutral setting, supported contact allows children to spend time with family members with minimal intervention from staff. This service is ideal when there are no significant safety concerns, but a structured environment is beneficial.

Example: Parents transitioning to unsupervised visits may start with supported contact to ease the process.

Virtual Contact

For families unable to meet in person, we provide virtual contact sessions through secure video calls. This service maintains the bond between children and family members when distance or other factors prevent physical meetings.

Example: A parent living abroad can regularly connect with their child through our virtual contact service.

Parenting Support

We offer guidance and workshops to assist separated parents in navigating co-parenting challenges. Our programs focus on effective communication, conflict resolution, and strategies to maintain positive relationships with children.

Example: A workshop on co-parenting techniques can help parents establish consistent routines across households.

Handover Services

Our handover service offers a neutral venue for the safe exchange of children between parents, eliminating the need for direct contact between them. This ensures that the child's experience remains positive and free from potential conflict.

Example: Parents with strained relationships can use the handover service to ensure smooth transitions for their child.

Caring Dads

A 17-week, evidence-based group designed to help fathers improve their relationships with their children.

This programme is particularly beneficial for fathers who have exhibited harmful behaviours, including emotional abuse, neglect, or exposure of children to domestic violence, and who are committed to making positive changes.

Parenting shouldn’t end when relationships do.

NACCC is the only charity in the UK dedicated to solving this problem by providing safe spaces where children can meet the parents they don’t live with. We oversee around 300 contact centres across the UK, run by a network of over 4,000 volunteers and staff.
